The results of a brief day trip to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The intended goal was to photograph the Pad-leaf orchid plant I had seen a week or so ago when it was in bud. As is custom for my jaunts to the Parkway, there is always much more to see and photograph than what I originally planned...
