Seen in IMO
A very particular and original capture.
And I like it, very much.
Right in the center of the image, and nothing else, lost (?) in its own aesthetics.
An extra-"ordinary" composition, for sure.
Great focusing and light.
A daring and excellent capture.

This is superb, Jenny, and a good example of what black and white photography is all about. The line of the post and of the bike are exquisite and the depth of field is also perfect. You've captured beautifully IMO the light and shadow and this is a photo that is faultless.

Didn't think that I was going to comment on your lovely photo - but we have had a 'Post and Run' and, being a diligent moderator, I am adding your third comment to uphold the IMO promise! Firstly, I like the selection of black and white. Somehow it simplifies the image and that helps, In My Opinion. I like the focus on the name behind the saddle - I assume that Brookes is a well established model rather than a modern mountain bike! I like the almost indication of the handlebars and the strong line of the lamppost works well too. Overall, a well thought through composition that works on so many levels.

Seen In My Opinion - I'm a cyclist so even at first glance this subject is a good one for me! The selective focus and the black and white rendition leave no uncertainty as to what this image is about either. Now, what I am wondering however is whether the image could not be more concise to lose some of the superfluous white area? I do find them harsh and somewhat of a distraction on what is a very well thought out concept.
