Ornate Ceiling

Ornate Ceiling
At Croome Court, Worcestershire.

The Court and grounds was the first commission of 'Capability' Brown. It was home to the Earls of Coventry. Between 1979-1984 it was home to a Hare Krishna Group.

The house is still a 'work in progress' as it has suffered a lot of damage over the years (especially below stairs) but as long as you wear a 'hard hat' that they supply, you can roam the kitchens and servants quarters. Fascinating!
