Ohhhhhhh!!! Look at this fine presentation! And you have primroses blooming!! :D *claps hands* We have daffodils coming up but they won't be blooming for another week or two I think. Yes it's true, spring is finally on its way! :)

Thank you for the wonderful comments on my rusty wire around the post picture! :) We are similar in our styles...I do wait for the beep of course but I can see where the focus spot is....MOST of the time. Sometimes I'm sure I had the right spot but I look on my computer and I was off. This is especially problematic the smaller you go. Like, you try to focus on the edge of a tiny flower petal and you get a slightly different spot and that's all it takes for the shot to be ruined if you are using a shallow depth of field. Can't tell you how many thousands of ruined pictures from this, but it's just another reason to take more than one picture of a subject, lol! :D

And of course, the surprises are amazing and a fantastic reward, aren't they? I've found lots of insects and sometimes spiders in my pictures, or a special droplet or something else--and I didn't know it was there to begin with! :) What fun!

Yes I feel Spring is on its way too. Mind you we've been extremely lucky where I live with this last winter. Yes it's been cold, but not that bitter and we've had the odd rainstorm etc, I'd been going to stay with Mandi for the winter, but I'm glad I didn't as they had floods, thunder and lightning, water spouts and horrendous rain and hail and temperatures not a lot different from mine!!! It was the worst winter they'd had for almost 20 years!!!!

Even if I wear my reading glasses, I still can't see whether the part of the image I want fully focussed is where the indicator which beeps is. So I do take lots of pictures of the same image to make sure I get a good picture!!!! We are indeed "birds of a feather"!!!!

Perhaps this is the time of year when I miss my garden the most! A fine series of shots, Jenny.

Oh I would miss this so much. My garden is mainly wild as I can't get out to do the gardening now so it's even nicer to see what's come up. Also these wild flowers are attractive to bees and butterflies which I love to watch.
