I took this on July 23 2007 just a few minutes away from my house in South Edmonton. You can watch it change shape on the right side with the wind.

I took this last summer while in Dawson Creek, BC on a job. It was a hot day and the grain got hot and ignited by itself. By this time the fire department just backed away and kept other things from burning.

Sorry for the poor quality of this clip. I zoomed it to get a close up shot. There was a lot of smoke in the air, from other fires in the area. I submitted this to the local TV news station, and it was the first item on the 6:30 news. I get $100.00 and a…

I thought I'd share this short video of the weasel family that visits me. After playing for a while, their mother led away to hunt.

I took this photo in 1992 near Grand Forks, BC. I don't know if it's still there. I hope you like the song. :))

This is the North Saskatchewan river, just west of Edmonton. Quite a peaceful scene just a few minutes away from the city.

Scanned from an older photo. It's not easy to feed a bird with one hand, and focus an SLR camera with the other. :-)) This photo taken in Manning Park in British Columbia, and the bird is a whiskeyjack.

While this looks very cute, it is actually dangerous when bears lose their fear of people. Taken in July 1975 in Banff National Park Scanned from old photo

This boat is no longer in service and is waiting for a restoration. It sits at the south end of Okanagan lake near the SS Sicamous.

I think I've found the perfect accessory for my car. Not very portable, but a necessity in todays world. :)
