Trans Canada trail

Trans Canada trail
This is the old Kettle Valley Railway bed, now used as a hiking/bicycle trail. It's part of the trans Canada trail system. This is where it crosses the old Princeton/Summerland road.

Hi John, some years ago I was interested to do the KVR-Trail by bike. I remember there were big fires in this area then which destroyed some parts of the trail like bridges. So it was impossible for some time to make the whole trail. Do you know if it is opened meanwhile in its complete length?

Yes, all the bridges were rebuilt soon after. This is a nice trail to take because, as a former railroad, the grades are not very steep, and the views are beautiful. I will do parts of it this fall myself.
