Hotel Dieu was the name of many important hospitals in big cities at mediaeval times; In Troyes it has been founded around 1157 by the Count of Champagne Henri Ier; In 1759 Pierre Delphin built the 12 meters high grid in iron work then gilded in a Louis XV style; The ancient hospital rooms nowadays a University annexe and the Pharmacy Museum; France Champagne-Ardenne Region Aube Department Troyes Capital Hotel Dieu.

One can see there the central part which is less than the half of the monument; The viaduct is 654 meters long and 52 meters high and contains 50 arches; This stone bridge is one of the most remarkable buit during 19 th century; On top are the railways, below is an aqueduct and the lower level is for pedestrians who can admire from there the river Suize valley; France Champagne-Ardenne Haute Marne Chaumont Viaduct.Le viaduc est long de 654 m pour 52 m de haut et se compose de 50 arches. Cet ouvrage en pierre est l'un des plus remarquables construits au XIXème siècle. Les promeneurs peuvent emprunter le premier étage pour voir la vallée de la Suize.
