197807 Egypt BNP Trip

197807 Egypt BNP Trip
A trip organized by BNP, Pierre's employer; First Cairo capital, the pyramids and some landmarks as the giant museum or the great mosque, Memphis and the colossal sphinx then flighst to Assouan and Abu Simbel temples, flight back to Luksor, where we visited the main temples of the town, the museum with France patronage, Kings and Queen's valleys, Thebes, Hashepsout temple, Philae and Kom Ombo just emerging from the Nile River; Never felt such a sensation of grandeur and eternity!!! We had then a flight back to Cairo where we made a tour in the desert to f El Fayoum oasis under an always terrible heat (often over 50°C or 122°F!) and where we have eaten our best meal of rice and pigeon of all our life.

UKEO, Charlie have particularly liked this photo

I am really enjoying each of your beauitful collages. I very much like the way you have the map on one page and then the collage with the map inside of it. Great work, my friend. I marvel at all the wonderful places you have been in your lifetime, but even more so, the way you have kept documented everything with dates and miles and all the interesting little facts and things you encountered each place.
