PICT7507ac Painted Plaster Aurige 's Head at Home
Hellenistic beauty called The Aurige or charioteer and perfect bronze statue realized in 474BC (during Praxitele School Period by Phydias) located in the Museum of Delphes; In 1976 I bought there a plaster copy of his head only for its beauty (the complete statue is a man standing on a chariot with horses and driving it; I see everyday this loved artifact so I was very impressed to see again the original in 2007.
