What can be the weigh of this megalith standing alone in the desert? Mother Nature will always amaze us!!! There are 70 monolithic sedimentary spires in the Sate Park reaching 170 feet in height (50m); The high colors of some rocks contrasting strongly with a very blue sky prompted the National Geographic Society in 1949, with the consent of Kodack Film Corp., to name the park Kodachrome Basin; USA Utah Kodachrome Basin State Park.
