PICT8729ac Global View of all Keyboards of the Second Console Placed in the Nave
Achieved in 1989 by the Flemish Organ Builder Van den Heuven, this grand organ is rich of 8,000 pipes and three 32 feet ranks of basses making it unique in the world; 5 Manual keyboards of 61 notes and 1 Pedal keyboard of 32 notes plus round push buttons for calling combinations by feet and the numeroted registers between the manual keyboards; I shall not enter in the complex description of all the stops and huge possibilities of registration; May be difficult to manage everything while playing a partition and read three lines of notes in different keys for left hand, right hand and feet! This is the second console placed in the nave ordered by the titular Master Jean Guillou for public auditions and concerts of organ with other instruments or orchestra; France Paris St Eustache Church.

I have redone the posting dear Armin but after control the picture still does not appear in your group and I don't know why as Ipernity says 'done'; Perhaps do you know the reason? Jacques

This group is a moderatet group, so I have to check all photos before posting;
but in this case I don't know what happened ...
But anyway: now we have it, and I thank you for this view unto this stunning "keyboard"!
(I played one time on the Organ of "St. Lorenz" in Nürnberg, which has also 5 keyboards,
and I remember very well the special feeling sitting before ... :)

You are a lucky man dear Armin to have played such an organ, I feel jalous! Jacques
