Easter Time: Christ Calvary Passion

Easter Time: Christ Calvary Passion
TO SEE ENLARGED AS ALL IMAGES HAVE BEEN REDUCED! It is my gift for Easter week of the Passion; Créon d'Armagnac was one of the four churches with Mauvezin d'Armagnac, Lagrange and Geou where was abbot my spiritual Father Joseph Massie who created in 1956 'Notre Dame des Cyclistes' or 'Our Lady of the Bikers' granted by the holy Pope John XXIII at Geou chapel now classified as a French National Monument; Many of the world renamed champions come there since to laud Mary and to give their or yellow shirt as winners of the Tour de France or their bike; Some have baptised their childs there and had even their funerals as Ocana; The saint man, great example of simplicity, poverty and charity leaved us at 87 years old in December 1999; I should have incredible stories to tell about him and some were quite miracles that I lived!!! Calvary stations: 1 Jesus is sentenced to death

guenievre, albertsville have particularly liked this photo

Very nice. I always enjoy the Stations of the Cross in Roman Catholic churches.

We are just back home after a very bad journey in Azores with permanent rain and fog! We saw nothing of the normally ravishing flowered landscapes, just some beautiful churches and by chance we got three luxury hotels where we passed most of our time to wait a better weather to make excursions!!!! One has even offered us at same price a magnificent suite to consolate us of the very bad weather!............About this montage: This church was the main church of my holy father Joseph who welcomed me during several of my childhood vacations, a man of an extreme kindness personified!!! Thank You Carol!
