In a very strong backlight! Mediaeval jewel of the countryside, Vitre Notre Dame church South aisle has been built in two periods (1480-1500 and 1530-1540) ornate by a pinnacle of seven gables; Its curio (see my Britanny album) is the external pulpit from where Catholic priests had discusses with the adepts of the reformed church seated on a facing platform; The church has also magnificent vitrals, organs, a tryptic made of Limoges enamels, paintings from the Flemish school and rich furnitures as the confessionals; France Bretagne Region Ille-et-Vilaine Department Vitre Fortified Mediaeval Town Church Notre Dame.
