Moument Valley Tribal Park

Moument Valley Tribal Park
TO BE ENLARGED FOR DETAILS AND BEST VIEWING; Average height of the mesas or tables or buttes is around 600 meters high!!!! From Page, the entrance to Monument Valley is located on Hwy 163 (38 kms from Kayenta and190 km from Page);
Monument Valley Tribal Park is one belonging to the Navajo Indians; A paved road of 6 km leads to the Visitor Center; The Valley Drive is in Arizona and can be done with your private own car; It is a dusty gravelled road, a 30 km loop needing at least 2 hours with a controlled speed limit of 25 km / h; The main attractions are Mitchell Butte, Sentinel Mesa, Elephant and Camel Butte, Rain God Mesa and Thunderbird, Totem Pole, Anasazi Butte, Mittens and Merrick Buttes (photo from the terrace of the Visitor Center), Three Sisters (photo to be taken rather in the morning as against the light in the afternoon), Hub (huge rock 500 m high), the Thumb, Totem pole & Yei Bi Chei (by far one of the pics looks like the Statue of Liberty), Artist Point (one of the most beautiful views of the park); USA Utah and Arizona Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park.
