The Protestant Temple has been built between 1901 and 1904 by the Germans ruling this border town at that time and was consecrated by Emperor Guillaume II himself; As Metz was a Catholic town, this temple was needed by the occupying new rulers to practice their own cult; This new church has been built in the German Neo Roman style on an island of Moselle River called Petit Saulcy rooming also gardens called Gardens of Love; France Lorraine Region Moselle Department Metz Capital Protestant Temple on Moselle River.

Je retravaille mes photos pour parfaire l'horizon et quand il n'est pas présent, la ligne centrale doit être verticale en principe.....si ce n'est pas le cas je fais tourner l'image et avec l'aide d'une grille, j'ajuste cette verticale au pixel près; merci Gilles!
