Taken with no flash, no tripod (prohibited); Above the main altar is this large fantastic mosaic depicting a teaching Christ and the some Apostles (St Peter and St Andrew on his left, St Paul and St Luc on his right; Below are 24 old men of the Apocalypse; This awesome basilica enshrines the real tomb of Apostle St Paul;Construction of the Basilica started in 323 under Constantine the Great; The Saracens pillaged the Basilica in 847; It was again reconstructed between 1450-1626; The colonnades in the courtyard, the Piazza di S. Pietro were constructed by Bernini in 1667 and include 162 figures of saints; The obelisk of Heliopolis (which has no hieroglyphics on it) is located here, supposedly containing a fragment of the True Cross; The inside high altar has the slab of porphyry that German emperors were crowned with; Italy Latium Rome Capital St Paul Outside the Walls Major Basilica.

I haven't processed mine yet from St. Louis, but I don't think they turned out too good. It was an awesome sight for sure.
