Carved in 1500BC and 105 feet tall, this is the oldest and tallest obelisk in Rome; Pharaoh Thutmosis III (Great-uncle of Tutankhamon) had it carved and placed in front of the Temple of Amon (Karnak) in Thebes; In 357 AD, the son of Constantine the Great brought it to Rome for the Circus Maximus and it is set here on St John parvis; Italy Latium Rome Capital Cathedral Basilica parvis.

Je ne sais pas lire les hiéroglyphes de l'ancienne Egypte mais je les trouve si jolis et proches de la nature que j'ai fait ce montage pour les magnifier!!! Merci Loule!
