My first yard project of the year! I couldn't seem to lay the bricks in a straight line, so I went with a wavy border. I like it.

Halfway there

Something needs to be done with this entryway. Those are just chunks of concrete laying on the ground. But how awesome is my "new" screen door? It was actually one of the original wooden screen doors for the kitchen, but mom's boyfriend Neil helped to cut it down and build it up to make it fit this door. Then we added a sweet cat door so the girls can come and go as they please into their yard. Love it!

The goal is to move the fence out to widen the grazing space.

felled and de-branched

Clearing out some of the unwanted trees along the side of the pasture. It's good to know someone with a chainsaw! I spent most of a day lopping the branches off these trees and hauling them up back to make a new brush pile. The trees will be cut up for firewood. They aren't much, but a BTU is a BTU.
