Here's the thing - I came down sick on Saturday, November 19. What I thought was just a sore throat turned into what I was sure was a bad case of strep. My husband took me to the emergency room Monday morning - I couldn't swallow water even, and I hadn't slept but maybe four hours in two days. The doctor there told me it was a viral infection and sent me home to wait it out. On Friday, November 25, I was in my primary care doctor's office unable to hear. My viral throat infection had turned into raging infections in both ears. So basically I've been bedridden for a week and unable to go out for really interesting photos for my picture of the day series. It is what it is...mostly looking out my bedroom window.
