Interesting architecture; saw these kinds of barns also in northern Portugal.

This is Northern Portugal, we do not have them in Center or South country. In Galicia (Spain) they have the same ones

Love how the old concrete has accumulated lichens and moss.

That is impressive, Jose, and makes the photo all that much more attractive.

Wonderful textures, patterns and shapes. The wall is so cool looking, and the building...it's fascinating that it's raised up...makes you wonder why?

To avoid rodents going up and reaching the air slots of the walls built in order to let the air circulate and keep de cereal dry. They can not escalate those 8 granite feet and then walk upside down to cross the flat granite dishes above their heads….
