This is Northern Portugal, we do not have them in Center or South country. In Galicia (Spain) they have the same ones

Every piece is granite Ron,
Every stone is hand cut from the boulders that lay everywhere.
-Granite is a kind of igneous rock, found on Earth but nowhere else in the Solar System. It is formed from hot, molten magma. Its colour ranges from pink to grey, according to the proportions of its minerals. -Wikipedia

Wonderful textures, patterns and shapes. The wall is so cool looking, and the building...it's fascinating that it's raised up...makes you wonder why?

To avoid rodents going up and reaching the air slots of the walls built in order to let the air circulate and keep de cereal dry. They can not escalate those 8 granite feet and then walk upside down to cross the flat granite dishes above their heads….
