Poundbury, indeed, but rather spoiled by the parking bays.
Needs a few shrubs and some less-uniform trees.

Agreed. And why the frigid straight lines, both road and buildings? Cheaper, no doubt, to build in straight lines, but the result just shouts: "Done to a budget!" It will improve to a degree as the trees mature, but basically a wasted opportunity IMHO.
