This is the bridge that caused me to miss my connection at Warrington, with the bus having to loop round Barnton first, before setting off on the Marbury Road.

A lovely spot on the river, thats a very attractive house, the lower floor extension is a bit out of sync with the main part but I've seen a lot worse.

This might be the same house, perhaps?

I've been looking at both photos trying to work out if it is the same house. If it is the same one what is strange is that the photo from the bridge shows the gable end of the house has those nice curves on the sides going up to the roof but on this other photo you can see what would be the opposite gable end and it is not of the same curved style. Could it be that they only had the attractive gable end built on the side facing outwards to what would have been the view from the bridge and main road, and to save money they had a more basic design on the other end? The chimney certainly looks the same as does the layout with the extension.

It is the same house. It's on Soot Hill.
