Altschloss-Felsen #2

Altschloss-Felsen #2
There are many castle ruins in the Palatinate Forest. Here only the name of the rocks, some caves and pole holes remind of a castle that was torn down centuries ago. Nothing about the history of the castle is known today. Erosion sculptured the sandstone rocks during millions of years - a mystic place.

Captured with a Minolta X-300s and 2.8/28 Rokkor lens on 35mm Rollei Retro 400s, exposed at EI 100, developed in homemade Parodinal 1:50 for 18 minutes, 19 °C. Negative scan, some basic pp with Gimp.

Here I addionally used a 720nm infrared filter.

Needs to be watched as big as possible imho.

Bob Darrell, John Linton, Richard Turenne and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Lovely place and your shot conveys its unreality.
