6/100 - Viburnum Bush Blooms

6/100 - Viburnum Bush Blooms
Here is shot number six for my 100x project, and it's another one from my garden!

This time it's a viburnum bush that's sprung into bloom, although I'm not sure that this is the right time of the year for it! However, I'm grateful that I got to shoot it for my project, as otherwise I'd be shooting shop bought flowers!

If you want to join in with the 100x project, take a look at the 100x: 2014 group! The only rules are that you shoot 100 images of an x of your choosing, and that all of the images must be taken in 2014!

Go on, give it a go, it's not too late to start - and you know you want to! :)

A pretty capture of these early blooms of Viburnum tinus. They are right on schedule, Ian. Here too (Southwest of France) , they started their bloom season.

I guess it's a lot warmer down there than it is here, although it is quite mild here for the time of year! I'm sure I've never seen these bloom in January before - I thought they usually flowered in March / April! :)

A beautiful flower captured in a lovely light. Great to see on a grey, wet day.

Perfectly illuminated. The sided light lets the plant pop 3D.

Lovely! I think of most viburnums as flowering a little later, but a mild winter can bring these into bloom early. Your garden will soon be providing you lots of material for your project!

Yep the weather's a bit wacky at the moment - not sure nature knows what to make of it. Great shot.
