Translator note:
(*) Winter flowers refers to snow, for each flake presents itself like a flower.
(**) The song deploys many different terms for "forever". For example, 天長和地久 translates to the age of the heavens and earth, and is by far one of the most often used terms in chinese literature to stand for an eternal love.
(***) "看細水長流" watching the long flow of water actually refers again to eternity.. to spend a long, continuous time together. The more literal translation of the preceding line is "Perhaps when you've finished seeing through the scenery". The metaphor carries itself throughout the line, making it very tricky to put together a concise translation.
(****) The key concept and title of the song -- the red bean, draws its meaning from chinese literature as a representation of missing another person. As such, "cooking" the red bean refers to the continued tossing and growing of those thoughts of another.
The wound of closeness seems to refer to the past, close intimacy of the lovers.. for which the thoughts and missing of the other who is now far from oneself creates a wound. As such, the line really means, "Having not yet missed you so much that it hurts" (from the closeness we shared in the past).
