Did you not know that I was a famous photographer for cookbooks in the early 70th?

Boah ey.. wie fiese.. ist das nicht scheusslich? Ich hatte heute wieder eine Lektion in "wie photografiert man mit Kameras für Erwachsene" und zwischendurch bekamen wir Hunger...

Ich glaube in den 70ern wäre das der Hit gewesen!

Für Dich? Machst Du Kochbücher.. dann sind sie bestimmt besser.. wir haben ja nicht mehr die 70er.. nein... das war einfach nur ein Joke! Da ist er wieder mein Humor.... und diesmal zeigt er sich in der Photografie! Wenn Du jedoch Foodbilder machst würde ich sie sehr gerne sehen! (kein Witz)

Panda hätte sicher geschluckt, wenn sie mich am Freitag/Samstag gesehen hätte: Ich habe 2 kg Erdbeeren vom Feld geputzt und portioniert---hinterher sah ich aus wie aus einem Buch von Kathie Reich oder einer der anderen unsäglich blutrünstigen Krimiautorinnen entsprungen....;-)

Die Reihe "the serial fruitkiller" von Hendrike gibt uns einen tiefen Einblick in die Zerrissenheit früchtlicher Schicksale. Die auf hohem ästhetischem Niveau verfolgte, eher an die frühe Dokumentation von Küchenpraktiken der auslaufenden 80er erinnernde, Bildsprache offenbart Widerwillen, Faszination und Entrückheit. Eine Retrospektive dieser Schaffensphase der Künstlerin wird dem Betrachter vieles näherbringen; doch ist es immer auch im Kontext ihrer anderen Werke zu sehen.
