Il s'agit ici d'un mâle venant d'éclore.

Ce sublime "papillon vitrail" vit dans des forêts de pins sylvestres, sur des biotopes accidentés, à moyenne altitude dans certains coins isolés en France (Alpes, Pyrénées) mais aussi en Espagne.

Il n'existe nulle part ailleurs dans le monde !
