Why - why - why !!! 


You are a sad sad fool Gunnsteinn. Why do you always do this to your self !! Stop drinking Coca Cola and eating all this chocolate Gunnsteinn and you will look fine before you know it :)

I got the idea of taking two photos like that when I started working out when I came to the boat few months ago. I was 92kg when I came here and that is the heaviest I have ever been. My weight has never gone over 90 kg before so things will end badly if I won't do anything about it. I have to admit that I did not realize that I was getting that much bigger. I only noticed that my belt was getting smaller and smaller :)

I had not gone to the gym for a year and because I am getting a little bit older every day, every Coca Cola bottle I drink and every chocolate I eat seams to make my love handles grow bigger and bigger. After working out for some time and thinking about what I ate I got rid of 9.6kg (20 pounds) I know my posture is very different in these two photos but I did that so the change would look a little bit more dramatic :)

Takk kærlega fyrir þetta Begga :) Mér fannst fyrri myndin betri fyrst en núna er ég á því að sú seinni sé betri. Svipurinn á aulanum með kókdósina þar sem hann horfir á þennan sjálfsumglaða með ávextina er bara nokkuð góður :)

Það eru fjórir og hálfur mánuður á milli þessara mynda. Ég byrjaði í þessu átaki í síðasta túr í lok febrúar, en í þeim túr léttist ég um 7 kíló. Ég tók pásu í ræktinni í rúman mánuð á meðan ég var heima í fríi en svo byrjaði ég aftur þegar ég kom um borð núna, en samt ekki með sama krafti og áður.

Þú ert alltaf á hlaupum um öll fjöll þannig að þú þarft nú varla að vera að kaupa kort í einhverri líkamsræktarstöð :) Ég hef verið að æfa þennan túrinn en mataræðið hefur verið afleitt. Ég get ekki látið nammið eiga sig þannig að sjoppureikningurinn er kominn í 144 kók og 220 tvix. Úff það er hræðilegt að sá þessar tölur svona á prenti :) Ég læt þetta ekki koma fyrir í næsta túr :)

Takk fyrir þetta Ragga :) Það er ekki ónýtt að fá svona flott komment :) Ég þarf að fá einhvern til að leka þessu kommenti í konuna mína svo hún sjái að það séu konur að tala um strákinn LOL :)

Án þess að ég sé að segja að þetta sé einhver svakalegur árangur þá kemur það mér alltaf jafn mikið á óvart hvað spikið rennur af mér þegar ég loksins fæ mig til að fara í ræktina og hugsa svolítið um mataræðið. Það gerist reyndar ekkert fyrstu tvær til þrjár vikurnar, en svo losna ég við kíló á viku í töluverðan tíma eftir það.

Thanks Corinna for your nice comment :) I feel a little bit embarrassed to talk about my self because if I say that I have a six pack it looks like I am to much in love with my self :) The only reason why I took these two photos was because I thought the idea was good. When I was younger I always did sit ups so I guess my abs are always there but sometimes they are hidden down under my belly fat :) The only thing I do when I try to get in shape is to eat five times a day, less than normal but enough. I try to run two kilometers and work out for 40 minutes every day. I have a candy day on Sundays where I drink coke and eat chocolate, and I am sure that helps because then my body knows that it gets overdose of sugar once in a while :) I have done this few times in the last few years and patient and discipline is the key here. I don't seam to loose any weight in the first 15 days but then I seam to be able to loose up to one kg a week for few weeks in a row. This is what I do and what works for me :)

I don´t think,that you are too much in love with yourself,when you are talking about your own sixpack.You can be proud of it,because it costs a lot of discipline and sweat to get it.I am trying to get one since a long time,but I am never strong enough to go the full way..I am doing triathlon( just for myself,no turnaments)and I will try to reach my target this year.I bought the DVD from Billy Blanks,that is about a very heavy training for the whole body and specially for the belly..So lets see,what I can tell you in a few weeks or better months ..
And by the way,the idea with the candy day is fantastic,I am eating chocolate nearly every day..;O)

Triathlon, great :) You said your were doing triathlon just for yourself, no tournaments. I have an advice for you and that is to think about training for tournaments. You will be much more dedicated and you will work out much harder than you do now. You can then always decide not to take part when the time comes :) Thanks for your comment :)

Yes,you are right.I thought about it many times,but I can´t crawl.So others will swim away and I would reach the target when it is dark ;O)
But anyway,I will try to run a marathon in May.That is the first tournament for me.Let´s see,how this will be,maybe I have the brave,to do a triathlon tournament aswell :O)

Takk Ingibjörg :) Ég vildi bara að ég gæti hætt alveg að drekka kók en það hefur verið erfitt. Ég get agað mig til að láta allt drasl eiga sig á meðan ég er í átaki en svo fell ég alltaf þegar átakið er búið. Ég var að koma um borð í skipið fyrir nokkrum dögum, en hérna verð ég í tvo og hálfan mánuð og ég er einmitt þessa stundina að reyna að koma mér af stað í ræktinni. Þessi komment sem biðu mín við þessa mynd þegar ég kom um borð hvetja mig mikið til að halda áfram :) Ég er sammála þér með seinni myndina enda ætla ég að skipta henni út fyrir þá fyrri. Takk fyrir þetta :)

Thanks :) I just started going to the gym after taking two months off. It is always hardest to start but then it gets easier :) I don´t know if you need it but go to the gym and take one before photo and another after photo when you are done and show it to us LOL :)
