Selbsportrait von mir und meinem Jack Russell Terrier Rico aufgenommen im Jahr 2016. Leider mussten wir Rico aufgrund schwerer Rückenprobleme im März 2023 im Alter von etwa 15 Jahren einschläfern lassen. Das macht mich immer noch traurig. Andererseits sind die vielen schönen Erinnerungen an die Zeit mit ihm auch ein Trost. Aber wir haben noch Clifford, unseren zweiten Jack Russell, der bald 14 Jahre alt wird, also auch nicht mehr der jüngste, aber noch recht rüstig ist.

Zäune sind auf diesem Foto auch. Ich nehme die guten Erinnerungem an Rico daher zum Anlass, allen einen Happy Fence Friday zu wünschen. :-)

Love this long shadows of Rico and you. I empathise with you, still crying when I visit the grave of my Estrelinha who was put to rest in January 2021, a pain that softens but never goes.
I didn't want another dog but there was an old podengo doggie in the shelter, she touched me, she was there for almost 6 years, we made contact and I could not let her there one more day. Never understood why nobody came for her, she is a sweet and I am glad to have decided to give her the best last years of life she could ever dream of.
Well, there is a fence, even two on your left side indeed, so HFF Guido, enjoy walking Clifford
