24th April 1955. I was christened on my mother's 40th birthday.
Boys in the middle row born in 1944, 1946 and 1943 (from the left) and the two in front 1947 and 1951.
Mamma og pabbi
At Café du Paris in London. A fewyears after WW2, 1948 maybe. They were married in October 1942 and there in 1948, they already had four sons.
Pabbi
My father. Born in Snæfellsnes in Iceland on October 30th. 1907, died in Reykjavík on December 29th. 1989. His 100th birthday coming up.
I think this photograph is taken when he lived in Canada from 1927 to 1937.
Mamma
Ingibjörg Jónsdóttir. She was born in Ísafjörður in Iceland on April 24th. 1915 and passed away in Reykjavík on January 9th. 1997. A wonderful mother and my very best friend, always.
This photograph is taken in Norway while she studied there from 1936 to 1939.
