Turning Torso, Malmö, Sverige

Turning Torso, Malmö, Sverige
The sky was dramatic today, very different from last year when I was in the same place.
This fantastic building, by architect Santiago Calatrava, turns 90 degrees around its own axis. It is 190 m high. It is comprised of 9 cubes, 5 floors in each cube. Each floor is about 400 sq mtrs.

Thomas Listl, askyog, Namaste, archifio and 7 other people have particularly liked this photo

This is from last year, taken from the other side on a sunny day in June.

It is a fascinating building.
With binoculars, I can see it from the top floor where I live, the size of a match. :)

Wow, both fantastic photos! When I was there, the sky was grey and it was foggy...

Thank you Chris. I love this building, wonder if I ever get tired of shooting out there. A shame it was grey and foggy, hope you get to see it again sometime,.
