Sligachan bridge and the cloud topped Glamaig 775m (2,543ft) , This is the northernmost of the Red Hills and one of only two Corbetts on the Isle of Skye. The higher surfaces are almost all of scree.
Legend says that from the enchanted waters under the bridge you can gain eternal beauty, for this you must dip and hold your face in the water for 7 seconds and then allow your face to dry naturally (not wipe your face).

The water was very cold and it's not worked yet !!!

A wonderful image Roger................I love the low flying clouds and moody sky and the earthy colours of the mountainside. Some great textures in the bridge itself and the dry stone walls.

I love the legend. I didn't try it when I visited in 2014......but I doubt it would have made any difference :-))

Hold hard and save you money Rosa (a) it dosen't appear to work and (b) if you really must I would wait to the weather warms the water a bit,
It is only a pedestrian bridge these days but getting a shot free of people can be a challenge,
