Local flooding of Hartwell Lake

Local flooding of Hartwell Lake
(Old Jewell Bridge Road, Clemson, SC, US) Due to recent rains, Lake Hartwell, one of America's largest man-made lakes, has it's highest water levels since the 1960's. This has caused recent flooding of some of the local roads, and with the rain that has been coming down today and that is predicted for next week, this road may be impassable for days to come.

We've had weeks and weeks of raining almost every day. We had been in a drought here in SC for the last decade, but this brings the water levels up to their highest levels since the 1960's. Very unusual weather.
