Southern Downs Steam Railway at Warwick ran a train to Toowoomba on the second weekend of the Carnival of Flowers. Due to the extreme fire danger their diesel hydraulic loco hauled the train instead of the advertised steam loco. September 2017.

Southern Downs have these and the QR museum at Ipswich have some for historic trips.

The museum group in Toowoomba, Downs Steam, have a stainless steel ex Brisbane suburban set similar to this one which is also from Ipswich www.ipernity.com/doc/grahamh/45555290 plus some 1950s log distance cars for when ever they get to running trains.
