Flowers

Today Feb. 22, 2009 I was reading Kawabata's Thousand Cranes a sad and gripping book. I don't know if it had an influence on this image or not--I suspect it did.
The flower is scanned directly on the scanner, text is a brush and of course, the tile borrowed from Klix www.ipernity.com/doc/klix/4005433 completes the image.

Hannelore Schmid, mild at heart, Anne Seltmann, artistikkkbranleta and 9 other people have particularly liked this photo

I do not see a title or I am wrong?
I read only one book of Kawabata (Yasunari, isn't it?). It was called Kyoto, and I fully forgot how it was. I only know that I like Japanese literature, with my favourite author being Murakami!
Fabulous image as usual. Dead flowers have something very attractive and sad.
I'll post 2 other tiles as I am by far not able to fully make use of them as you do.

No the image has no title because I can't decide on one. It will come. Yes it is Yasunari Kawabata. I read Snow Country, and started the Master of Go but got distracted in the middle of it. I have to restart it now. This book is quite short and very gripping although not as surreal as Murakami. It is quite interesting and sad. Thanks for the tile picture: it has given me a few ideas to explore.
