Mahmoud Darwish Memorial

Mahmoud Darwish Memorial
© 2008 Aref Nammari

Poster for Mahmoud Darwish Memorial. Mahmoud Darwish is the most famous Palestinian poet: the conscience of the Palestinian people. He is the equivalent of Pablo Neruda. He passed away a few weeks ago.
The words in Arabic are verses from his poem "Ila Ummi" (To My Mother), which was the inspiration for this artwork.

Amneris GmrT, Berny, Jason Elkins have particularly liked this photo
