Steering Wheel: Buick 1937

Steering Wheel: Buick 1937
Details from a friend's restored 1937 ( I think that's right) Buick. He asked me to take a few shots for him. Haven't done the shoot yet but took some test shots for me :) I'll post some once done.
Shooting cars is not really my style or forte but I think it will be fun.

Tim, aingeal, P.R.Baptista, Berny and 4 other people have particularly liked this photo

a kind of design you do not find in "modern" cars

That is certainly true. This particular car is gorgeous. It has been restored to its original state. Last weekend I was supposed to go take some more pics but the weather did not cooperate hopefully this weekend I'll be able to do it. Thanks for the visit aktion1.

The emsemble of your photos have a consistent sense of search for new forms of expression,
new techniques.
In the photo above, even if as you say "shooting cars is not really my style or forte but I think it will be fun", your style is forte and the result is more than fun, it is very well accomplished and gives to the steering wheel an unexpected relevance

wow. I am truly humbled by your kind words. Yes you are right: I have thirst for renewal. Sometimes I think it is not so good because it makes it hard to define my "style" at other times I think that is not so bad as long as the enjoyment and the enthusiasm is there.

You have an unusual capacity of photography analysis and so it is very interesting your commentary.
Better than many of us you could define your style.
But at the same time this may be not be so easy.
Call my attention, for example, in your photography the absence of references to your political engagement.
