I looked her up on Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Corrie. Very sad. Hopefully her generous spirit will live on through the memories of others.

Rachel's murder is certainly a sad reminder of how cruel can human beings sometimes be. Her commitment to defend the defenseless is an inspiration to many and she will forever live in the memories of others: "Rachel, we won't forget you"

The home was also demolished. Rachel lost her life and the family she was staying with lost their house. A terrible loss on all counts.
