Thanks Marj. Re. the bush fires, we live in Queensland, and were affected in a minor way by smoke in December 2019. The current fires are down in NSW and Victoria... Here is an update as at 5 January from Wikipedia, devastating... The 2019–20 Australian bushfire season involves a series of wildfires that are currently burning across Australia, predominantly in south-east Australia. The 2019–20 bushfire season is of notable intensity compared to previous seasons as it has burned an estimated 6.3 million hectares (16 million acres; 63,000 square kilometres; 24,000 square miles), destroyed over 2,500 buildings (including over 1,300 houses) and killed 25 people as of 5 January 2020.

I'd love to visit New Zealand one day.

Well worth the distance and effort, wonderful scenery, friendly people, love New Zealand, have visited many times and really enjoyed it.

Appealing image with the happy colors of blue and white Gillian. Like so many others we have been following those horific bush fires that devasting parts of your country. The images of people trying to save those wild creatures are heartbreaking. Hopfefully, the New Year's firework presentation did not spark any additional areas into flames. Know we have been think of you and New Zealande. :)
