TSC Virtues... this flower makes me think of HOPE :-)
seven heavenly virtues
In the Catholic catechism, the seven Christian virtues or heavenly virtues refers to the union of two sets of virtues: the four cardinal virtues, from ancient Greek philosophy, are prudence, justice, temperance (meaning restriction or restraint), and courage (or fortitude); and the three theological virtues, from the letters of Saint Paul of Tarsus, are faith, hope, and charity (or love). These were adopted by the Church Fathers as the seven virtues.

This is a flowering shrub in the nightshade family, native to South America.
In Peru it is known by the Spanish-Quechua name chiric sanango.

Chiric sanango grows mainly in the upper Amazon...
Used in the West, the plant has a more psychological effect, but still to do with ‘heat’. Here, it enables people to open their hearts to love ... In essence, it helps people get in touch with the sensitive and loving part of themselves. Another of its gifts is enhanced self-esteem, which develops from this more healthy connection to the self.

Very interesting ideas! =) Yes, as long as there are plants, there is also hope! They bring so much health and joy to this planet, in so many ways.

Thanks Wendi, it's not actually wet, but a variegated flower, with white patches, archive photo from 2014.

Just as dawn inspires hope for a new day, springtime with it's rebirth of flowers and the return of the leaves to the trees always awakens a sense of hope. :) Your choice of the flower to represent hope works well & both images relate well to the challenge. :)

All our remaining flowers just got a big dump of snow on them. Our hope may be delayed a few months. :-)
