Americana

Americana is the newest downtown revitalization project in Southern California. "Americana on Brand" is in Glendale California which is one of the many cities that surround Los Angeles. Designed by the same developer who created "The Grove" in Hollywood. This development not only has shops and restaurants but large fountains, a place for children to play and includes apartments and condos as part of the facilities.
The photos in this series were taken on the grand opening day May 2, 2008. Less than half of the stores and restaurants were open, but that did not stop the people from coming out to see the development. It looks like it's going to be a fine place to sit and enjoy all the beautiful people walking by.
