This is actually wild Jasmine that I transplanted from the woods to one of my flowerbeds. It's more sparse than the cultivated variety, but looks just the same.

Around the edge of the lake you could peer into the swamps beyond, and, although they stayed just out of reach of my lens, there were LOTS of Egrets milling about in the shallow waters, hunting and catching fish.

Although this tiny wildflower (lawn weed) is quite colorful, I liked the way black and white shows the lovely forms and shape of the plant. I'll post a color shot later...^+^

I love to watch the leaves of this Century Plant fatten up in the Spring and slowly separate from the main stalk...what looks like a shadow of the thorn on the right, is actually the leaf's imprint on the next leaf below.
