Tiny Wildflower (lobelia cardinalis) 


Ever so often, one of these will pop up in the yard! The whole weed-like plant is only about 6" tall with 1/2" flowers on the top.

Sometimes it pays not to mow the lawn!!!

By the way.....the only time I've seen them bloom is in the Fall. For your viewing and listening pleasure, please view Wild Flowers!!!
