A Hard Life 

This tree had no choice in where it began it's long journey, but it made the best of what it had. Conditions beyond it's control will probably mean a short, hard struggle for it's own existence. Close by, but on much more stable ground, there are many other trees that are enjoying the benefits of better conditions, better health, and prosperity.
