April bis Juni wechseln die Rehe ins rötliche Sommerfell, September/Oktober ins graubraune Winterfell. Zeitliche Unterschiede gibt es hier zwischen jungen und alten Böcken: Alte Böcke fegen (verlieren den Bast) zuerst und wechseln danach ihr Fell, umgekehrt ist es bei den jungen Böcken. So hat es mir ein Jäger erklärt.
