Die Fähre ging immer von Ostende nach Dover. Ich war als Kind oft in GB (England / Wales) im Urlaub. An dieser Steilküste hat mich immer der (damals?) fehlende Zaun nervös gemacht. Ich habe viele schöne Erinnerungen an diese Insel.

Ein Zaun steht da immer noch nicht und manche Menschen verhalten sich da auch sehr leichtsinnig. Kann mich noch an eine Frau erinnern die sogar auf einen Bereich gegangen ist der sich schon halb gelöst und einen deutlicher Spalt zum "Festland" gebildet hatte. Das fand ich schon beim zusehen aus zig Metern Entfernung richtig gruselig.
