Mt Baker @ sunrise - Queen Elizabeth Park 

Taken from the top of Queen Elizableth Park in Vancouver. The sunrise is still on the east side of Mt Baker. Winter solstice will put the sunrise to the west of Mt Baker. I still haven't got a sunrise over Mt. Baker as yet. Hard to get the winter weather to co-operate. Some day.

Thanks Erato. Using the sun can create such dramatic photos with the backlighting effect when exposed for the forground with lots of DOF. I have a variety of these shots too, including one with a bird flying toward me. I will have to post that one. This was hand held with my hand assisting with shielding the sun from the lens to not wash out the foreground.
