CC Hall

CC Hall
CC Hall (lead guitar) of The Bridge Between, a blues band, performing at the Michelago May Fair.

I enjoyed their set enough to buy their first album, Hope Street.

Mr. Low Notes, Brian, Christina Sonnenschein and 2 other people have particularly liked this photo

Well taken, in full song. I'd say you made the right decision going to mono here, Dave, the colour cast of light through the tent caused some problems with my shot of CCHall.

Thanks George. I also had some trouble with the strong back-light - just could not get a decent exposure, straight out of camera. Going mono using Silver Efex helped a lot.

Good performance shot. And I agree that B&W works well too. I been in front of the stage taking photos and on the stage performing. On stage I hope I look ok in a photo and that the entire band does. Especially if we are all in the photo. Off stage I try to capture the members in the way you have. Looking good! And that's not always easy.

Thanks Patrick. I had a word with these fellows before they started their set, so they knew I was there. I think that helped.
