Audi Selfie

I have never felt comfortable in front of the camera - hate being photographed. But this is one portrait of me that I am happy about.

It was taken while I was doing a photography evening class at Canberra Institute of Technology. I tried to get smart and set the camera to spot metering, with a fisheye lens. Focused on the bumper of a very black car, the camera naturally overexposed the image.

The big rule during that semester was that no post processing was allowed on images submitted for assessment. When I looked at the preview, I immediately liked what I saw and turned to show it to our teacher, just to point out that no post-processing was involved.
