Looks better big, I swear. Type Z to see if I'm lying.

Is this the effect of the curfew?

There's no curfew here, kiiti. At the moment we have a lockdown, but we can go out for grocery shopping and so on. Also for exercise, although the provincial government tried to stop that, too. They changed their mind when everyone protested. This is just a fairly quiet street.

I can relate to the dog walker. Been doing much of that these days.

Dog-walking is good for you, Bob. I can say that because I don't have a dog.

A very cleverly composed stree scene John...............I like the way you've captured the similarity between the heart on the tree and the traffic sign on the pole. I think a lot of us would have missed that (I probably would have)!

Thanks, Keith. This was very quick composition. I was just getting my camera out when the dog-walker showed up so I just raised the camera and shot (I did have an idea of how I wanted the shot to look). As so often happens. a crop of that shot turned out to be better than following shots where I tried to emphasize the tension between the heart and the sign. They were just too close. Have a good week.

That is the basement, Fred. Perhaps the reason is that apartments are allowed to have outdoor parking here, so instead of parking cars in the basement they have apartments.

As for the overhead wires, the ground freezes here in winter. The water pipes are underground, and I have been woken up in the middle of the night by repair crews using sledgehammers to get to the pipes. They don't need to be using sledgehammers to get to the wires, too. Anyway, the wires look like sculpture to me.

This is a good neighbourhood for walking, Léopold. There's a big park with benches and this part of town lives up to London's claim that it's the Forest City.
